Meet The Author

Hey! I'm Dr. Devin, and above you'll see a picture of my beautiful wife of 18 years, Chelsea, our daughter Penny, and our sons Beckett and Callen. We are in the Dominican Republic, where we own a 47-acre healing and training facility in the jungles, on a mountain, in paradise. 

But I didn't always have this “Instagram perfect” life. I was like you, I grew up with the same training as you. From a very young age I was taught by medical doctors, churches, and in schools. 

I grew up going to church on Sundays. I watch people get married and make promises to each other, for better or for worse, and eventually get divorced. I also saw my dad abuse my mom, myself, and my brothers. And this seemed pretty consistent in everyone’s family. A bunch of people pretending to believe in something, no one was actually happy, and everyone was putting on a show while they struggled with addiction and abuse behind closed doors. Kind of felt like church was a joke.

I grew up with high levels of energy, unable to sit for extended periods of time in the classroom and focus, and I barely graduated high school. I was taught that if I sat down, shut up, and did what I was told, with enough schooling, I would be successful. But, when I looked around, no one was happy, or successful. Kind of felt like formal schooling was a joke. 


I grew up with parents trusting medical doctors. When I was a passenger of a rollover high-speed car crash, I was taken to my medical doctor and began my addiction to pain pills and muscle relaxers. Now, over 20 years later, all three of my brothers struggle with addiction, chronic illness, and it feels like the advice and the strategies that were given to us by medical doctors to be healthy, were kind of a joke. 


I didn't stay on the same road as my mom who struggled with drug addiction and died young of cancer, or my dad who moved on to find the next lonely woman that would marry and support him, or my brothers who all struggle with addiction, and became abusers themselves.


I made my own road and actively went against the advice of Medical Doctors, Churches, Schools ,and anyone who took on the identity of being "a know it all prick" because they are a JOKE.

To heal my body and break free of addiction, I went to a chiropractor instead of a “real doctor”, I did yoga, I ate clean, I ran marathons, and healed my body naturally. Then I ended up becoming a chiropractor myself and helping thousands of families do the same. 

Until 2020, when world was hit with an unstoppable, aerosolized virus, and the advice from Medical Doctors, Churches, and Schools was to sit everybody inside, poison their minds with negative propaganda, and have them wear a piece of fabric over their face, the scientific equivalent of stopping a fart with underwear…advice that I thought, was a joke.

Yes. Did I have emotional breakdown with grief and hate, when I learned my friend was raped by her husband, and told to pretend nothing ever happened by her church? Oh yes. And did I experience a mental breakdown with absolute rage as parents were forced to have their kids masked in schools, directly affecting their development? Yes.
